Thermal Barcode Label Printers |
|
A thermal printer or direct thermal printer produces an image by heating thermal paper when the paper passes over the thermal print head. The coating turns black in the areas where it is heated, producing an image. Thermal transfer printing uses a heat-sensitive ribbon instead of heat-sensitive paper meaning they print faster and quieter than dot matrix printers. Commercial applications of thermal printers include POS (point of sale) printing, barcode printing and labeling.
Fast, compact thermal printer with high resolution capability for applications where high thermal print speed and sturdy construction is needed in compact operating environments
