Matica MC660 ID Card Printer

For on-demand quality card issuance with exceptional printing in government, corporate and education sectors

Launched in June 2019, the Matica EDIsecureTM MC660 retransfer printer prints exceptionally high quality cards thanks to its 600dpi resolution printhead, the MC660 will get to work on any material, including PVC, PET, polycarbonate and ABS, to reproduce any image – no matter how complex – with an unprecedented clarity and crispness, and in ultra vivid color.

This printer delivers on high expectations, which is what you need when demanding applications require high-level attention to detail in complex graphics and layouts. This also includes considerable speed with an output of over 170 cards per hour, (single-side color), so you won’t be waiting around tapping your fingers.

The MC660 has the capacity to ramp up security levels by printing micro-text which, combined with UV ribbon and the new security ribbon (YMCKSc), increases the number of visual security elements (VSE) on each card. Users will also appreciate that all encoding options are available, too.

Aesthetically speaking, you can expect its high-performance printing to reach full coverage, i.e. the card’s entire surface gets printed – so no ugly gaps or blurring – and the printing goes right to the edge. This even extends to uneven card surfaces when it comes to printing smart contact / contactless cards, for instance.

A superb choice for government, corporate and education sectors.

The MC660 follows the MDM (Matica Desktop Module) architecture and can be combined with different modules, (laminators, laser engraver, desktop embosser), to offer a scalable solution, which grows with customers’ needs while securing their investment. You just have to look at the short-edge card path, which makes the printer compatible with even more third party modules.

Aside from its output, the MC660 is easy-to-use and reliable, making it a firm favorite with the employees who work in card issuance and want a smooth ride. For example, the input hopper, based on a cassette with a 250-card capacity, has been designed for a user-friendly operation so it’s conveniently located on the top of the printer.
